Dopamine-colored Chinatown, super photogenic and delicious!

#SingaporeAttractions Chinatown, after spending a few days here and getting to know it well, I’m excited to share some photo spots and food and drink recommendations~

📸 Must-visit photo spots:
P1 - 4: The row of colorful Peranakan-style buildings on Keong Saik Road is incredibly photogenic! Just set your location to Potato Head Singapore restaurant, which is in the building with the sign "East Asia." Anywhere you shoot on this street, you’ll get plenty of beautiful photos.
P5: The best photo spot at People’s Park Complex is at the intersection of Tanjong Pagar Street and Temple Street. At the same location, at 20 Tanjong Pagar Street, there’s the wow souvenir shop. Their keychains are pretty good, 2 SGD each, great value for money.

🍱 Food recommendations:
Don’t miss the daily Hainanese chicken rice and old partner tofu pudding at Maxwell Food Court — the taste is amazing!
The Great Wall claypot frog porridge is also worth trying; the frogs are large and the porridge is very flavorful. Surprisingly, this place even serves crocodile, which is quite astonishing!
Inside Chinatown Point mall, you’ll find Mr. Coconut and Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, and at People’s Park Complex there’s Ya Kun. All these places are within walking distance, so you can check them all out in one go.
What surprised me the most was finding the same emoji 🫔 Mexican tamales at Mami's Tamales. The corn dough is filled with meat and spicy sauce, steamed in corn husks — something rarely seen back home. I ordered the Lunch Set, and the accompanying corn chips and salsa were super tasty. I sincerely recommend everyone to give it a try!
