Universal Studios Singapore, located on Sentosa Island, is a must-visit for families, friends, and movie lovers. The park is packed with exciting rides, movie-themed zones, live shows, and awesome photo spots. It’s not the biggest Universal park in the world, but it’s definitely full of energy and fun.
Top attractions here include the famous Battlestar Galactica roller coasters – two tracks racing side by side, one sitting and one hanging. Transformers 3D is a wild ride, throwing you right into an action movie. Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure is a splashy boat ride – expect to get wet! Ancient Egypt’s Revenge of the Mummy is a fast indoor roller coaster with cool special effects. And don’t miss the newly opened Minion Land, filled with adorable Minion-themed rides and fun for kids and adults alike.
Besides the rides, there are street shows, character meet-and-greets, and the epic WaterWorld stunt show with fire, explosions, and splashes. Perfect for that afternoon break from rides.
Ticket prices are around SGD 87 for adults and SGD 65 for kids. Express Passes are available starting from around SGD 80 extra, helping you skip long lines, especially on weekends or holidays. Booking online usually saves time and money.
Getting there is easy. Take the MRT to HarbourFront station, head to VivoCity Mall, and hop on the Sentosa Express to Waterfront Station. From there, it’s a short walk. You can also take buses or even the scenic cable car ride if you want views along the way. Taxis and Grab also drop you directly at Resorts World Sentosa.
Pro tip: arrive early to beat the lines, especially for big rides like Battlestar Galactica and Transformers. Weekdays are the best for avoiding crowds. Don’t forget a poncho for water rides like Jurassic Park – trust me, you’ll need it. Also, grab the park app to check wait times and plan your route smartly.
