Shenyuan and Shuishan Sugar Cultural Park are located in Shanhua District, Tainan City. Shanhua Sugar Factory was built in 1904 and was originally a dormitory area for sugar factory employees and their families. In addition, the park’s attractions are divided into Shen Garden, Nanting, Guangwen Hall, Railway Station Park, Qushui Liushang Park and Lychee Dead Wood Forest, etc. The reason why the Shenyuan and Shuishantang Cultural Park uses the name Shenyuan and Shui is that it means "to forge a deep bond" in Taiwanese. The Taiwanese word "shui" also means beautiful or pretty. The park hopes to leave a good impression on tourists, so it uses these four words as representation.
