🇳🇿4 must-see attractions in Wanaka, New Zealand

It took over three hours to drive from Fox Glacier to Wanaka. It was mountainous and overcast all the way, but I finally arrived safely! This town is really beautiful, no joke, it is surrounded by mountains and rivers, it has a holiday feel! #New Zealand itinerary

🌧️ Puzzling World
Once we arrived, we saw it was drizzling, so we thought we would go to Puzzling World to take shelter from the rain. This place is really quite interesting! Inside there are many exhibition halls of optical hallucinations, and mazes, which are dizzying and fun to play. It's great for taking pictures and checking in. The whole group keeps challenging their visuals. It's quite addictive!

🌄 Mount Iron Track
After the rain stopped in the afternoon, I thought of doing some outdoor activities and went hiking on Mount Iron Track. This trail is easy to walk, but it is quite steep down, up to the top of the mountain, Wanaka panoramic view, lakes and mountains, it is invincible beautiful!

🌅 Wanaka beach
Went to Wanaka Beach early the next morning to feel the slow pace of this tranquil town. And of course, check out the lonely tree (That Wanaka Tree)! I don't really understand why it's called the lonely tree, because it's really super crowded around it to take pictures. The lakeside view is super beautiful

💜 Wānaka Lavender Farm
In the afternoon we went to Wānaka Lavender Farm, which is fantastic with a sea of purple flowers and a small aromatherapy shop selling crafts and skincare. Admission is cheap and you can take pictures with the animals and the whole farm is fragrant and very relaxing!

💡Tips:
Remember to bring water and sunscreen when hiking. The wind at the top of the mountain is a bit strong.
Puzzling World recommends going early to avoid crowding.
Remember to bring some bright colored clothes when taking pictures at Lavender Farm. The effect is so beautiful!

Wanaka is a place where you can really play slowly, beautiful mountains and rivers, diverse activities, rain or shine is not afraid of boredom, I really recommend staying here for a few more days!
