Today isn't the weekend, so to avoid the crowds, I suddenly had the urge to take my 70-year-old parents for a walk around the area. I found the Gushan Village scenic area on a review website and it had quite high reviews, so I decided to visit and experience it for myself.
Gushan Village is located in Tanli Village, Miaofeng Mountain, Mentougou District, Beijing, just off National Highway 109. It's about a 30-minute drive from downtown Mentougou. There's a narrow winding road, so drive slowly and pay attention to safety!
Admission is free for seniors over 65 and children under 1.2 meters. Adults are 39.9 yuan per person. Tickets can be booked online and picked up at the ticket office. The parking lot is large and free.
Farming: The scenic area is filled with many cultural relics related to production and life, including tractors, wooden carriages, plows, rakes, bamboo baskets, hoes, and shovels.
