The warm spring breeze paints the hilltops green and opens the flower buds.
April and May are perfect times for spring outings and scenic views. The temperatures haven't yet reached fever pitch, and the UV rays aren't as strong, making it the perfect time to venture deep into nature, breathe in the fresh air, and experience the vibrant energy of nature.
To avoid the crowds that often accompany weekends. At the border of Beijing and Tianjin, Orange Seed discovered a hidden gem: Cheshenjia. A paradise hidden within the mountains. About a two-hour drive from Beijing, Cheshenjia Scenic Area, located in Xiaying Town, Jizhou District, Tianjin, awaits. Along the way, February orchids sway in the breeze, and pear blossoms fill the valley, each breathtakingly beautiful. As the distance to our destination shortens, we retreat from the hustle and bustle of nature, and the romance of spring washes over us.
I visited Cheshenjia Scenic Area last fall, and the sight of the abundant harvest and the drying of the harvest is still vivid in my mind. This second visit to Cheshenjia has allowed me to discover a new way to enjoy it! If you're a Hanfu enthusiast, don't miss this hidden gem! After entering the scenic area, take a cable car directly to Tiantai Mountain, the highest peak in Cheshenjia. Ascending to the observation deck, you'll discover a landscape of mountains, rivers, and canyons. Wearing Hanfu, gazing into the distance, your skirt dancing in the wind, is a highly photographed experience! The panoramic view of the mountains and clear waters is truly breathtaking. Walking past the Lovers' Pine Trees, I looked up to see the colossal statue of Emperor Huangdi, the ancestor of Chinese civilization, standing majestically, protecting the world. It also happened to coincide with the opening of the inaugural Cheshenjia Chinese Rituals and Music Hanfu Culture Festival. The event took place in front of the colossal statue of Emperor Huangdi in Xuanyuan Square. A grand ceremony of peace and blessing was held according to traditional etiquette, from the entrance of ceremonial guards to the laying of flowers, from the presentation of food and wine to the recitation of prayers, from praising Emperor Huangdi to letting dreams fly. Numerous traditional cultural performances were also featured. According to staff, the Hanfu Cultural Festival will run year-round. It includes activities such as the "Shanshui Hanfu" show, featuring unique landscapes such as the Xuanyuan Sacred Land of the God of Cars, the Eye of the Sky, the Flying Peacock, the Dragon and Phoenix Ponds, and the Qingshan Plank Road. There are four major series and 38 sub-activities.
Enjoy the springtime beauty. In this season filled with the fragrance of flowers, don Hanfu and become the protagonist of a story, wandering through the mountains and valleys, discovering a surprising che shang (a car god rack).
The ancient wall, shaped like a human, traverses Feizhi Mountain. Built during the Northern Qi Dynasty, it winds for several kilometers, like an octogenarian quietly recounting a millennium of vicissitudes. The 360-degree panoramic glass viewing platform, the "Eye in the Sky," reflects the eternal sun and moon, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and rivers. Walk on the transparent trestle, sit quietly, or stroll with a fan. With the added bonus of Hanfu, any photo opportunity is stunning. During this time, there was also a little girl around five or six years old who ran over to take a photo with us. Her voice was so cute! Walk down the mountain and into the Jizhou Grand Canyon. This winding canyon, with its rock formations, is a true wonder of the world. Millions of years of geological evolution are clearly visible here. You can observe up close, even touch, this natural wonder, hailed as "the history of the earth and a treasure of the world."
The photos taken here are very grand. The scenery is so beautiful that there is no need for post-processing. The original photos can be posted directly on WeChat Moments. You can stand by the stone bridge or the roadside with the mountains as the background and you will have great photos. At designated times every day, there's a peacock release performance. With the sound of a long, melodious whistle, peacocks fly out in formation from the depths of the mountains, one after another spreading their wings and soaring down to the valley floor... Children can also have an intimate "encounter" with the peacocks, feed them, and admire the beauty of this king of birds up close. We rode the train through the dense, cascading pear blossoms to the foot of the mountain. From afar, the pear trees looked like fountains bubbling from the ground. The snow-white pear blossoms, like a continuous stream of waves, danced and leaped in the sunset, caressed by the spring breeze, their whiteness as pure as snow and shimmering silver. From afar, the pear blossoms, like drifting white clouds or scattered snowflakes, are infinitely soft and charming amidst the majestic mountains, a breathtaking beauty. The sky is a rosy red, and in the twilight, the che shenjia and fellow Hanfu dancers dressed in costumes from different dynasties form a beautiful painting. Their graceful figures, some gently waving round fans, some holding umbrellas, seem to have stepped slowly from the painting across millennia.
I wish to return to the Han and Tang dynasties and once again play the jiao, zheng, gong, and shang music.
Wearing the clothes of the Han dynasty, I will revive our nation of etiquette.
I wish to return to the Han and Tang dynasties and once again compose a chapter of prosperity.
Why fear the long and difficult road? Look at the sons of China.
I say I have no clothes. I will share my robes with you, admiring the magnificent mountains and rivers together at Cheshenjia. This season, explore the secret garden hidden in the mountains. Visitors to Cheshenjia can enjoy the beautiful mountains and rivers while also being immersed in the culture.
