This is a trip that I have been thinking about. The long-awaited appearance of Xishuangbanna has finally come in July this year.

Preparation before departure

1. Accommodation. We didn't spend much time choosing accommodation. I just saw a lot of people settled in Gaozhuang West Shuangjing, so we also chose this place. The price of the homestay is okay, more than 300 yuan a night. The environment is not bad either.

2. Transportation. First, fly to Xishuangbanna, and then pick up and return the car at the airport store of Yihi Car Rental. I ordered a car in advance on their mini program. I used the new user gift package, which included a rent-free first day, which was particularly cost-effective. The cost of renting a car a day is about 70. (Be sure to pick up the wool of new users)

3. Other preparations. Xishuangbanna has a very good scenery and a lot of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring toilet water. The ultraviolet rays here are too strong, and sun protection must be done well. I brought a bottle of Agnes and used a small half bottle. It is recommended to bring an umbrella, it may rain at any time, and the rain may stop at any time.

DAY1 Chengdu-Xishuangbanna

was already very late when it landed in Xishuangbanna that day. In fact, the B&B we stayed in also provided free pick-up service. We considered that if the B&B came to pick you up, it would be taken directly to the hotel. If you pack your luggage again, it's unlikely that you will go out to play.

In the end, I decided to rent a car when I got off the airport that night. In this way, the car rental company can pick us up at the airport, and after completing the formalities, we will put our luggage directly in the trunk and still have time to go to the night market. And it is more convenient to pick up the car at the airport, and it is more convenient to return the car directly to the airport on the return trip, and there is a fee for changing stores to pick up and return the car.

This is the scenery of Xishuangbanna taken on the plane, it is very beautiful. After that, I bought some snacks at the night market, went around casually and went back to the B&B to sleep.

DAY2 Big Buddha Temple, Manting Park, Gaozhuang Night Market

We set off for the Big Buddha Temple early the next morning. We totaled that the Big Buddha Temple and Manting Park could be arranged in one day. I looked at the tickets from the Internet, and sure enough, there is a package of two attractions, 108, and the price is quite cheap.

Friendly reminder: There are a lot of locals around here, saying that they can take them to the scenic spots to help buy tickets, and it is cheaper to buy them on behalf of others. Don't believe it. Years of experience have taught me that this kind of locals who stop people halfway are basically slaughterers.

My friend believed this at the time and asked people to take the tickets to buy, and finally bought a ticket for 160 yuan, which only included the Big Buddha Temple and did not include Manting Park. It's just too pitted.

The

view of the Great Buddha Temple is really beautiful. There are many peacocks in it, much more beautiful than the peacocks you see in the zoo.

Here you can buy food to feed the peacocks, a pack of 10 yuan. Be careful when feeding, don't let the big peacock peck at your hand. I was bitten by a peacock.

The

peacock yard is also very funny, the circles on the body are already very dazzling, but there are pebbles on the ground, which is very dazzling. The boyfriend said, "Look, is there a big circle on the ground on the peacock"

The Great Buddha Temple is especially photogenic. Although the attraction is not very big, we still played here for nearly four hours, mainly for taking pictures.

Manting Park

the afternoon, we went to Manting Park again, which is very close to the Big Buddha Temple, so we just drove there. Manting Park is not in the city, but outside the scenic spot. Many locals will come to Manting Park to play, and it is estimated that they are all buying annual passes, the kind that thieves are cheap.

There are many kinds of plants in Manting Park, mainly vines. Although they can't be named, they are all very good-looking.

The lotus pond is the most beautiful, and now is the season when the lotus flowers are blooming, and there are lotus pods on it. I love to buy lotus pods to eat, and I have an urge to pick them off from above.

There is also a big golden Buddha in Manting Park. Visiting Xishuangbanna gives me the feeling that it is similar to visiting Thailand.

Went to the night market at night. I bought a lot of fruit at the night market. Tropical fruits here are much cheaper than buying them from us.

I bought two large portions of durian, both ripe and very delicious. I really love durian meat, and I eat it until I explode at night.

There are also mangosteens, all of which are soft, and none of them are rotten. Especially tasty and sweet.

Went to Laos Iced Coffee again in the evening. The night market is an Internet celebrity store, but the coffee in it is really average. We don't have a particularly recommended coffee, it's probably just suitable for checking in.

Dinner was eaten at a restaurant across the street. The restaurant has a wide variety of dishes. My favorite dish at this restaurant is the grilled fish, which is large and delicious.

The other dishes are slightly average.

DAY2 Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden - Wild Elephant Valley

The next day was two more attractions, I went to the Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden and Wild Elephant Valley, and continued to visit the night market in the evening.

The name of the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences determines that it is very atmospheric, and there are so many types of plants in it. When you arrive at the Botanical Garden, you can buy an additional electric frequency ticket for 50 yuan, so that you can try to visit this attraction as much as possible.

If you want to walk through the whole garden, it basically takes five or six hours.

saw this Wang Lian. Very famous. It seems that children under 80 pounds can sit on it and take pictures. It's a pity that my own weight is not good, so I don't have much chance.

The

Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is also very beautiful to take pictures, just take pictures of the concave shape.

saw the power of mosquitoes here, there are many mosquitoes in it, and they bite all the bags.

Therefore, be sure to prepare toilet water.

There are also hot air balloons here. It's quite interesting to ride a hot air balloon night market. But there are more people in line, so we don't have the experience. The hot air balloon is 288 people. Although the price is slightly expensive, it is important to experience it.

There is food for sale in the botanical garden, and we ate grilled sausages, which cost 10 yuan each, which is more expensive than in the night market. But also within acceptable limits. Since eating in Chimelong, I feel that other attractions are not expensive.

Wild Elephant Valley

Wild Elephant Valley can see elephants. There is an elephant riding project here, I hope everyone doesn't ride, don't ride, don't ride! Thank you.

I couldn't stand Thailand's situation of riding elephants and watching elephant performances, and I felt that Thailand was really bad, but I didn't expect that at the moment when domestic netizens continued to boycott animal performances, wild elephant valley could still ride elephants.

There

are other animals in the Wild Elephant Valley, such as pythons, which are so big.

I wanted to go to the Asian Elephant Museum again, but it was too late and the museum was closed.

Went to have a barbecue in the evening. We ate at Gaozhuang Night Market. Many people say that the meals here belong to scenic spots and the meals are not authentic, but we think the taste is okay. Go to eat Mantingqiao. The barbecue price is relatively expensive, costing 160 for two people. The fish eaten here is also the most delicious, I don't know how to make it, but none of the fish in Xishuangbanna are stepping on thunder.

After eating the barbecue, we went to the night market again, which is really lively. There are a lot of delicious things in it. I think that when playing in Xishuangbanna, you must choose the accommodation next to the Gaozhuang Night Market, which is too suitable for visiting the night market.

At noon the next day, we went home.
