2020 is a special year. At the end of November, I still want to go out. At the end of November, there are not many destinations to choose from, so I chose to go to Kunming to see the seagulls.

Recommend a hotel in the city center

Zhongwei Tianheng Hotel, the location is so good, take Metro Line 6 from the airport, Tangzixiang Station, get off the subway and walk a few minutes to arrive, an old five-star hotel with magnificent decoration. Because the door was not cleaned properly, after waiting for more than 10 minutes, the staff apologized and upgraded me to a suite. The room is too big, isn't it? Don't be too happy living alone.

Because it's on the 27th floor, the view is great. There are many shopping malls and restaurants nearby. Yunping Snack Shop, Cuihu Park, and Kunming Old Street are all within walking distance.

Sea Stem Dam, you won't get tired of playing with seagulls all day long

We chose Haigeng Dam as our first stop. It is easy to get a taxi in Kunming using taxi apps, and I personally feel that the price is more cost-effective than a taxi. Haigeng Dam and Dianchi Lake are very close, so we can plan the itinerary together.

Look at everyone's uniform movements, they are all using bread to attract seagulls.

In late November, Kunming was a bit cool in the mornings and evenings, but quite hot at noon, and the sun was still quite glaring. I really liked the Haigeng Dam and went there twice.

Dianchi Lake

As we walked, we arrived at Dianchi Lake. The wind was very strong and there were not many people, so we just walked around. Next to it is the ethnic village. I prefer the natural scenery and did not choose to go into the ethnic village.

I saw that the night view of 1903 is very beautiful, so how could I not go?

I also unexpectedly discovered a shop I like, Jiahua Zhizhi, the food is super delicious.

I recommend a restaurant called GAGA in 1903. The fruit tea and salad are good, and the environment is nice too.

1903 Another place worth seeing is the Yang Liping exhibition. The ticket price is 58 yuan, which I personally feel is very worthwhile. I have a better understanding of Yunnan, Yang Liping, the relationship between man and nature, and life. I used to feel that Yang Liping was too individualistic, but after seeing this exhibition I feel like I have a true understanding of her.

From Yunping snack shops to Kunming Old Street, experience traditional Kunming life

I ordered some food at Yunping Snack Bar, which tasted good. I started the new day leisurely.

It's next to Nanqiang Street. There's not much to see during the day, but it should be more beautiful at night.

I saw that there is also a Unicorn Starry Sky Art Museum in Kunming, and I can't help but want to go and have a look. The ticket price is 45 yuan. It's a shiny place.

The next stop was Kunming Old Street, and I suddenly realized that the landscape settings were all carefully designed by the designers, and they were not simply piled up.

Keep walking and you will reach Cuihu Park, where you can continue feeding the seagulls. In fact, the seagulls seem to prefer their food to bread. In Cuihu Park, I also saw squirrels which I hadn't seen for a long time. Kunming's ecology is very good.

Next to Cuihu Park is the Kunming Zoo, with an entrance fee of 20 yuan. The highlight is probably the peacocks.

I recommend a delicious place nearby, Chicken Rice Noodles in Chicken Soup at Wenshan Hexianju. If you can't eat rice noodles, you can use noodles instead, which is very delicious.

Yunnan Provincial Museum, a must-visit museum

Yunnan Provincial Museum adopts the method of making an appointment by following the WeChat official account to visit. It is such an excellent museum that even someone like me who doesn't like museums spent three hours wandering around. There are many introductions to the characteristics and history of Yunnan. In fact, I was attracted to it only because I heard about Duan Zhengchun's introduction. Haha, you can rent a tour guide for 20 yuan.
