Tomorrow, August 7th, is Saturday. It only takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to travel from Kunming to Puzhehei by high-speed rail, and the price is 75 yuan. It can depart from Kunming South Station or Kunming Station. Because the tickets departing from Kunming Station are concentrated in the afternoon, we chose the one departing from Kunming South at 9:10 am. I have to go to work on Monday, and the return trip has been planned in advance. It is enough for a one-day trip to enjoy the flowers. The transportation is solved.

Arrived at the high-speed rail station early in the morning. During the epidemic, fewer people left the province. Wear a mask, scan the code, and show the code without being careless. It went smoothly!

As soon as the high-speed rail arrived at Puzhehei Station, a local bus driver shouted at the station door, "Get on the bus quickly. It runs every hour. It feels a bit like a special car pick-up." Sitting by the window, the breeze blew gently. In this hot season, the cool breeze is really pleasant!

The bus stops at Xianren Cave Village first, and then goes to Puzhehei Village. The two independent scenic spots are several kilometers apart. It's a long walk without a car, so you need to charter a car or share a car, which costs 30 yuan per car.

You need to walk 700 meters to the station, cross a small stone bridge, and take a cruise on the river. After a bend, you will reach "Xianren Cave Village".

Putting down the bag, I just wanted to look at the lotus flowers. The shop owner said the walk to the lotus pond was a bit far, but there was a tram right outside the door for 5 yuan per person. No waiting, just hop on and go.

The bus first went to Hundred Flower Valley. It took just over 10 minutes. Hundred Flower Valley boasts a variety of flowers, including safflower, lotus, and chrysanthemums. There were props in the sea of flowers, perfect for outdoor photography. We arrived at 12:00 PM, and it was too hot at noon! It was just outside the wire fence, so a distant view was enough.

Across from Hundred Flower Valley is a private lotus pond. The caretaker wasn't there, and the lotus flowers were in full bloom. I took some photos. The entrance fee is 30 yuan, but we saved that and got to take photos of the lotus flowers we'd been dreaming of!

Still 5 yuan per person, and it was already 3 pm when we were sent back to our accommodation.

Around 5 pm, I took a good look around Xianren Cave Village. It's also a leisure place. Its beauty lies in its quietness and elegance. Because of the lotus, the village is clean, with only the blue sky and green leaves to complement it. I was actually hungry, so the owner recommended the spicy lotus fish, a local specialty. The fish was fresh, tender, and rich (I almost swallowed my saliva just thinking about it). I highly recommend it. The lotus leaf omelet (the lotus leaf was tender, and the egg was fragrant) was the real Puzhehei experience. By the time we finished eating, it was already late. The plank road was bathed in the sunset glow. Isn't it this beautiful every day? It was a quiet, dreamless night. We had agreed to take photos of the rosy clouds at 7am, but since we woke up late, we decided to take photos of the morning light. A beautiful village.

The advantage of traveling independently is that you can change the itinerary at will. We did not buy tickets or take a boat. (Because the scenic area is large, there are many kinds of ticket packages, mainly electric cars and boating, which cost 200 yuan per person.) We asked the store to contact a private car to go to the Ten Thousand Acres Lotus Garden and pass by the Swan Lake Scenic Area. We walked 2 kilometers. The sky was blue and the clouds were white. Cars of tourists drove by along the way. We envied them for enjoying the cool breeze, and they envied us for walking in the lotus fields. The Wanmu Lotus Field Scenic Area has also been fenced off, costing 30 yuan per person. We found that the scenery inside the fenced-off area lacked the scattered landscape, so we didn't enter the area. We walked around the outside of the fence instead. On the path, we happened to see a few girls in Korean costumes taking pictures, so we secretly snapped a few more. :) It seems that it's the eyes that matter most to discover beauty! The lotus flowers outside the fence, unenclosed, are even more graceful!
