Pu'er City's original name was Simao. I personally prefer this name. I always feel that the ancients were more cultured and had a better understanding of aesthetics than modern people.
Pu'er's famous breakfast is rice cake, and there are many ways to eat it. Asking the locals, we were told that the old Wei Ji shop is the most authentic, so we drove there. We ordered two flavors of rice cake, peanut and bean soup, and tried them both. The peanut soup one was the best. The so-called rice cake is made by beating rice into powder and making it into noodles. Peanuts are ground into a paste. After the rice cake is cooked, it is placed in the peanut paste and then seasoned. A nutritious breakfast is born.
Pu'er City's roadside trees are planted with Javanese sausage trees. The trees are full of beautiful flowers, and the whole city is filled with a happy atmosphere!

Afterwards we came to the China Pu'er Tea Trading Market. Among the many tea merchants, a young lady from a tea shop called Yansen Tea House warmly invited us to taste tea. After a conversation, we found that we had a good connection. We bought some tea, said goodbye to her and went to Erhan Farmhouse for lunch.
It was mushroom season, and this farm stay also specializes in mushroom-based dishes. After a short break, the delicious food was served. We feasted on it.
