Mengyuan Wonderland | Feel the Primitive Charm
Meet up with a few friends and embark on this fairytale rainforest journey. We sleep in a luxury tent with a view of the starry sky, have a barbecue party on the beautiful lawn, experience the magical beauty of the pristine caves, and encounter the natural wonders of the tropical rainforest. We hiked through six kilometers of river tracing, and both adults and children had a blast. We even took on the via ferrata, which we had never dared to do. With safety measures and experienced guides throughout the journey, the thrill of the cliffs was a rare experience!

Science and Technology Adventure | Crossing the Tropical Rainforest

This tropical rainforest is home to countless flora and fauna. Adults and children alike transform into adventurers, diligently searching for fascinating creatures, exotic flowers and plants, venomous snakes and wild beasts – each journey promises a unique discovery! Tall, dense trees, intertwined vines, and epiphytes form a three-dimensional hanging garden. Looking upward, sunlight is blocked out by the dense lush green leaves and vines. Only in a rainforest can such a diverse array of plants be found. This rich flora provides food and habitat for animals, making the tropical rainforest the richest region on Earth in terms of animal species.

The total route is approximately 17 kilometers, including a 2-kilometer rainforest hike on a paved, easy-to-follow trail within the park. The 6-kilometer rainforest trek offered a chance to explore the unknown. The final 9-kilometer pickup truck ride ended with a thrilling 9-kilometer drive. On the return trip, we were caught in a downpour, making the bumpy ride incredibly thrilling!

Note⚠️The plant in the picture below is very dangerous. It is said that even the migrating wild elephants in Yunnan dare not touch it! The Millennium King Tree is over a thousand years old and is revered as a sacred tree by the local Dai people. Prayers here are said to be effective! This is where your hike begins!

Secret Cave | Exploring Stalactites
After passing the Couple Tree, the mysterious entrance to the Baojiaoniu Cave appeared in front of us accompanied by mist. It really has a fairyland atmosphere!

The cavernous secrets stretch approximately 1,600 meters and are divided into four themes and 19 main attractions.

The fairy mist with empty pupils, the reclining prince statue, the quiet cave, and the cause-and-effect stone, each landscape is based on the original landform and inspires admiration.

Challenge Yourself | Via Ferrata

Located in the Mengyuan Wonderland Tropical Rainforest Canyon, the 350-meter via Ferrata ride reaches its highest point 100 meters above the ground. Constructed into the mountainside, it offers panoramic views of the rainforest from above, traversing the treetops. Having never dared to try this before, I successfully challenged myself. The scenery along the way was unforgettable, but the most unforgettable part was the mental journey of overcoming my fears. There were countless moments when I wanted to give up, but my teammates and guide encouraged me. When I finally reached the surface safely, I realized that everyone has fears. By striving to accomplish them, you can become a better version of yourself.

This via ferrata is more than just an adventure and fun; it's an experience of scientific exploration into the limestone monsoon rainforest, a chance to discover an unknown world.

Dreaming of the Starry Sky | Light Luxury Tented Camp
Mengyuan Wonderland is known as the Peach Blossom Spring closest to the starry sky. Nestled amidst the emerald green of the mountains, dotted with fairytale tent cabins! Lying in the camp, gazing at the night sky, the Milky Way hangs across the sky like a ribbon, seemingly within reach, hence the name Starry Sky Camp.

Starry Sky Camp is located in the Bison Canyon of Mengyuan Wonderland, surrounded by mountains on all sides. It is located between the Golden Mountain and the Silver Mountain, surrounded by rainforest, and the Mengyuan River runs through it. The Starry Sky Campground's lawn covers 7,000 square meters and can accommodate 200 tents, accommodating 500 people at a time. You can either bring your own tent or stay there. The staff are very responsible and available on call. They are experienced and have a strong sense of safety. Please remember to keep the zipper of your tent closed to prevent mosquitoes, moths, and other small creatures from entering. Bathrooms, restrooms, and a dining area are all shared and located outdoors.

Dai Cuisine | Authentic Yunnan Flavor
Here we had the authentic Dai cuisine, including barbecue and long table banquets in the jungle. Each handmade delicacy was completely different from the fast food in the city. The bamboo tube rice, pineapple rice, hand-pulled chicken, beef, and special baba all had a natural flavor.
