On Thursday, I happened to be visiting a colleague and flew to Kunming. I stayed at the Cuiyi Nanhu Hotel, but there was no air conditioning, so it was a bit hot! However, the hotel had plenty of disposable supplies, including face towels and laundry detergent.
Kunming's internet-famous Lai Market was crowded and full of things. There were so many dishes I had never seen before that I couldn't carry them all. It was a feast for the eyes...
In the afternoon, the high-speed train arrived in Dali. It was really cool. The Hanting Hotel in Dali Ancient City is very good. It is right near the Boai Gate of the ancient city and the food street! You can explore the ancient city on foot! They also gave fruit. Wander around, find a place to eat, and make some fried mushrooms...

The ancient city has really been occupied by people from the Northeast. It’s noisy! The mushrooms were very delicious, but the sour bean juice was good...
I booked a 5A ticket for the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and took a taxi early in the morning...I saved a lot of time by taking the sightseeing bus to and from the scenic area. The flowers in the scenic area were beautiful, there were not many people, and the light rain was very comfortable.
From Kunming Station to the airport, you can check in your boarding pass and luggage in the transfer lounge without leaving the station. A 25-yuan bus ride takes you directly to the airport.
Kunming Airport is huge, so arrive early. First, you have to take off your shoes for inspection, and second, the boarding gate is so far away that it's hard to walk.
It’s a great time to buy flowers at the airport, no need to go all the way to the flower market…
