Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast

We have a 9 am reservation at CInderella's Royal Table.

It is our only day in the Magic Kingdom.

Please help me decide if we will be spending too much time in the restaurant as opposed to exploring the rest of the park.

Do you think we would be out of there at 10 am?

Thank you so much!

Cinderella's Royal Table is a unique and immersive character dining experience inside Cinderella Castle, which makes it a highlight for many guests visiting Magic Kingdom. For a 9 am breakfast reservation, you can expect the experience to take longer than a quick meal, so it’s unlikely you would be finished by 10 am.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Arrival and check-in: You may be asked to check in 5-10 minutes before your reservation.
  • Seating and ordering: Cast members will guide you to your table and provide menus. Drinks and food will be served, usually starting with beverages and pastries.
  • Character interactions: Multiple Disney characters, including Cinderella herself, will visit each table. This often includes photo opportunities and some time for autographs, which can add to the duration.
  • Meal pace: Breakfast is plated and served course by course. Even though the food is not overly elaborate, the pace is relaxed to allow for interaction and photos.

Based on feedback from many guests, a typical breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table takes approximately 60-75 minutes. This means with a 9 am reservation, you would likely be leaving the restaurant around 10:15–10:30 am, depending on how busy the restaurant is and how long you spend with characters.

Tips to maximize your day:

  • Plan your FastPass/Lightning Lane selections for rides later in the morning, after your meal.
  • Consider booking rides or attractions that have shorter waits for the first hour after breakfast.
  • If your goal is to hit headliner rides early, you may miss the absolute first hour of the park, but you gain the unique castle dining experience.

In summary, Cinderella's Royal Table is worth the time for the special experience, but do plan on leaving closer to 10:15–10:30 am rather than 10 am. Your Magic Kingdom day will still have plenty of time for attractions, but you should adjust your ride strategy accordingly.
