Street Markets

Are there any street markets in the area?

Yes — there are a few regular markets in the Naples / Southwest Florida area, though “street markets” in the sense of big, daily open-air vendor bazaars are limited. Below are some of the main markets where you can find local produce, crafts, art, and handmade items.

  • Third Street South Farmers Market / Open-Air Market — This is Naples’ most popular market. It runs every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Neapolitan Way parking lot (between 3rd Street South and 12th Ave S). You’ll find local produce, artisan crafts, baked goods, seafood, flowers, jams, and more.
  • Pine Ridge Road Farmers Market — Held every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3370 Pine Ridge Road, Naples. It’s part of the Naples Marketplace series and offers produce, food, art & craft vendors, and local small businesses.
  • Vanderbilt Farmers Market — Another excellent Saturday market (8 a.m. to about 12–1 p.m.) located at The Shoppes at Vanderbilt. You’ll find fresh produce, seafood, artisan foods, and some crafts.

Things to Know:

  • These are farmers’ markets, so you’ll see a mix of food vendors and local artisans, not necessarily huge touristy street-fair booths.
  • The Third Street South market is “open-air” and very much a staple for locals and visitors alike — it’s a great place to grab fresh produce, baked goods, and hand-made items all in one spot.
  • Because Naples regulates street vendors and markets, large “pop-up” street festivals with lots of craft booths happen seasonally more than weekly.
