Milepost 2025 edition is now available

just an fyi....

I was just in my local Costco (Debarr Rd in Anchorage), and they had the new edition of the Milepost available ($29).

If you've an older version of the Milepost, it's likely still good as the roads/highways change very little; but the businesses do change.

The 2025 edition of the Milepost is now available and can be purchased at local outlets such as Costco in Anchorage (Debarr Rd location) for $29. This updated edition provides travelers with the latest information on Alaska’s roads, highways, and points of interest.

Key points to consider when deciding whether to get the new edition:

  • If you already have an older version of the Milepost, it can still be very useful. The major highways and routes in Alaska change very little from year to year.
  • The primary updates in the new edition usually concern businesses, services, accommodations, and other traveler amenities that may open, close, or change location.
  • For planning a trip with the most current information on lodging, fuel stops, dining, and tour services, having the newest edition can save time and prevent surprises.

In short, the older Milepost is still largely accurate for navigation, but the 2025 edition provides the most up-to-date practical travel information for visitors. It’s particularly valuable if you’re relying on it to plan stops along the way, check business hours, or discover new attractions.
