I am planning on traveling to Chengdu to experience Pandas and would appreciate some insight into where to go and what I would experience in each spot. I am hoping to be able to volunteer and get as close as possible to these amazing animals. Also how do I arrange to go to each Panda sight?? Is there a tour company that handles this or do I go directly to the sight?? Do I need a reservation?? I am probably going to travel to Chengdu by train from Xian. And after Chengdu travel to Shanghai either by train or plane. Thank you for any insight.
