As part of a road trip we will be arriving in LV approximately 5pm and departing next morning about 10 am. I'm aware it's not much time so I wanted to ask for hotel recommendations that would enable a speedy arrival and departure process, as well as parking.
I ask as on my last visit to LV, I stayed at the MGM Grand and check-in/check-out was slow and the size of the hotel meant a lot of wasted time. We're arriving from DV NP and departing to Springdale/Zion - we had originally thought that staying somewhere like Hampton Inn Las Vegas Strip South and using Uber to get to the strip and back for a night out but wanted to check whether this is a good option or not?
Thank you.
For a short stopover like yours, where convenience, quick check-in/check-out, and easy access to the Strip are priorities, staying at a hotel with minimal crowds, good parking, and easy access to main roads would be ideal. The Hampton Inn Las Vegas Strip South is a solid option, especially since it’s near the Strip but far enough to avoid the congestion of the larger resorts. Here's a breakdown of some options that might work well for your one-night stay:
Regarding your idea of staying at the Hampton Inn Las Vegas Strip South and using Uber to get to the Strip, it’s definitely a good plan, especially if you want to avoid the traffic and parking headaches of staying directly on the Strip. The Uber ride will only take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, so it's a very reasonable option for a quick night out on the Strip.
In short, I recommend staying somewhere like the Hampton Inn Las Vegas Strip South or another smaller hotel, which offers faster check-in/check-out, good parking, and an easy path to the Strip. If you prefer to stay directly on the Strip, The Venetian or Park MGM would be great options as well.
