Campanile Hotel The Bund 33 Fu Jian Lu Huang Pu Qu China 200

Hi all. We are staying at this hotel for 4 nights from 28th April. We need to take a taxi from the airport and I have ben trying to get the address and details for the hotel in Mandarin as, quite rightly, I dont believe taxi drivers speak english and I have got time to learn mandarin!

Any help appreciated

For your taxi from Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) or Hongqiao Airport (SHA) to the Campanile Hotel The Bund, it’s best to have the hotel address in Mandarin, as most taxi drivers do not speak English. Here is the address written in Chinese characters:

  • Campanile Hotel The Bund
    上海黄浦区福建路33号, 邮编 200000
  • Pinyin (for pronunciation help): Shànghǎi Huángpǔ Qū Fújiàn Lù 33 Hào, yóubiān 200000

Some additional tips:

  • Show the Chinese characters to the taxi driver; this avoids miscommunication.
  • It is advisable to use a ride-hailing app like DiDi (Chinese Uber equivalent) as it can take your destination in Chinese characters directly.
  • For airport transfers, expect a taxi ride from Pudong to The Bund area to take about 50–60 minutes, depending on traffic, costing around 200–250 RMB. From Hongqiao, it is slightly shorter and cheaper.

If you want, you can also save a screenshot of the address in Chinese on your phone to show the driver; this is very convenient and widely used by travelers in Shanghai.
