Best Parking

We will be coming from Alabama, and leaving our car at the airport for 5 nights. What are some of the options for parking? Our flight leaves at 730 am, so will be a early morning for us.

Easiest I'd prefer, but not 50.00 a night. Maybe like 15.00?

Thank you.

For your trip from Alabama with a 5-night car stay at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, there are several parking options that are both convenient and affordable, especially if you're looking for something closer to $15 per day. Since your flight is early in the morning, you’ll want parking that’s easy to access and quick to get to. Here are a few options that fit your budget:

  • Economy Parking (E and S Lots) – The Economy Parking lots at ATL are a budget-friendly choice, typically costing around $10-15 per day. They are located a bit farther from the terminals, but they offer shuttle services that run frequently (about every 10-15 minutes). This is one of the most affordable long-term parking options at the airport, and it provides good access to the terminals, especially if you arrive early in the morning. You will need to allow a bit of extra time for the shuttle ride.
  • Park Ride and Fly – Park Ride and Fly is an off-site parking facility with shuttle services that can take you directly to the terminal. They offer daily rates of around $10-15 per day, with a free shuttle service. Since it's off-site, the shuttle ride may take a little longer than the Economy lots, but it’s still an affordable and convenient option. It’s a good balance between cost and ease of access.
  • Hourly Parking (North or South Terminal) – If you prefer a short walk to the terminal, the hourly parking lots near the terminals (North or South) offer a great location for short-term parking. Though the daily rates are higher, you may be able to find a spot for around $10-15 if you only need to park for a few days. Keep in mind, this lot fills up quickly, so arriving early is key.
  • Covered Parking (South Economy or North Economy) – If you prefer your car to be covered, the South Economy and North Economy lots also offer covered parking options for around $15 per day. These lots are still quite affordable, and they’re connected to the terminals via shuttle buses. They are a little more sheltered from the elements, which can be a plus, especially if the weather’s unpredictable.

Since your flight is early, you may want to factor in extra time for the shuttle ride, especially if you’re parking in the Economy lots or at off-site facilities. Arriving 2-3 hours before your flight is a good rule of thumb to ensure you have enough time for parking and getting to your gate.

These options should help you find convenient and budget-friendly parking for your 5-night trip. Make sure to check availability online, as these lots can fill up, especially during peak travel times.
