Your Alaska itinerary sounds fantastic! You have a perfect mix of wildlife, glaciers, and local culture. Regarding Anchorage seafood dining, you’re in luck—there are some excellent choices. Since you have two nights to fill aside from Moose’s Pizzeria and Ray’s Waterfront, here are some recommendations:

Seafood Recommendations in Anchorage:

  • F Station – Known for fresh seafood and sushi, a casual yet high-quality option. Great for Alaskan fish and creative dishes.
  • Chopped & Chowder – Excellent for a lighter, quick option. Chowders are top-notch; perfect for lunch or a relaxed dinner if you want something less formal.
  • Jack Sprat – Offers a slightly upscale yet cozy dining experience with seafood and steak. Good for a more sit-down dinner with a variety of options.
  • Jen’s – Offers local seafood and comfort food; smaller, casual atmosphere, worth trying for a casual and authentic experience.
  • Kincaid Grill – Located near Kincaid Park, more of an upscale option with great seafood and steak, beautiful ambiance, good for a special dinner night.

Strategy for Dining:

  • If you want a casual, quintessential Alaskan seafood experience, Chopped & Chowder or F Station would be ideal.
  • If you prefer a slightly more upscale dining atmosphere, Jack Sprat or Kincaid Grill is recommended.
  • Since you already have a reservation at Ray’s Waterfront, try to book at least one of the other recommended restaurants in advance to secure a table, especially in July when Anchorage can be busy.

With your schedule, one night could be casual (F Station or Chopped & Chowder), and another night more sit-down (Jack Sprat or Kincaid Grill). This approach balances convenience, local flavor, and experience. Enjoy your week in Alaska—it sounds like an amazing adventure!
