JODD FAIRS Night Market: A Must-Visit Spot in Bangkok

When traveling abroad, it's rare to find places to explore night markets unless you're in Southeast Asia. Thailand, in particular, is renowned for its vibrant night market culture. This time, we visited JODD FAIRS, a new night market in Bangkok operated by the same team behind the former Ratchada Train Night Market.

The market is conveniently located and well-organized, with clean facilities and clear pathways. If you're traveling to Bangkok, this is a must-visit destination. Be sure to queue up for the Giant Volcano Pork Ribs (Diaw Maekhlong), a signature dish here.

JODD FAIRS has become a popular attraction in post-pandemic Bangkok. The original Ratchada Train Night Market had to close in 2021 due to the lack of tourists during the pandemic. However, many of the vendors have since relocated to JODD FAIRS, which is managed by the same team. The new market is thoughtfully designed, spacious, and clean, making it a highly recommended spot to visit.

For independent travelers, getting to JODD FAIRS is easy. Simply take the MRT to Phra Ram 9 Station (BL20) and exit at Exit 2. The market is just about 300 meters away. If you're coming from the Erawan Shrine area, it's only a 10-15 minute drive. Transportation is hassle-free, so there's no need to worry about getting there.

At the entrance, you'll be greeted by a giant bottle landmark, welcoming everyone to JODD FAIRS. This night market is truly worth exploring.
