.. The meaning of the name of the temple means "the temple of the royal grandson", which was built according to the royal command of King Nangklao (Rama III) to honor Queen Sommanas Wattanawadi, the grandson in 1846.

.. The outstanding religious site is Wat Ratchanatda, which is the metal castle, the only one in the world that has the beauty of Thai architecture and is also the place where the Buddha's relics are enshrined.

.. Open for visits every day from 08.00-17.00 hrs.
