Wat Pai Khiao, or "Wat Weluwanaram," was built around 1901 during the reign of King Chulalongkorn. Originally a swamp, this area was a small pond called Nong Pak Kok. Inside the temple, you can pay your respects and make wishes. At the front, you'll find the beautiful green and red statues of Thao Wessuwan.

This new landmark is also considered Bangkok's first Naga cave. The beautifully decorated cave resembles the Anodat pond of the Himalayas, a glimpse of the royal throne of the underworld. The 108-headed "Grandfather Ananta Naga" (Grandfather Ananta Naga) stands as the principal figure in the center of the cave. This is another unseen attraction in Bangkok that no spiritual devotee should miss.

Located in: Don Mueang, Bangkok
