Bangkok Guide | The beauty of Wat Arun is real, but the view restaurant is not worth the price 💸

📍 Bangkok Day Trip: Wat Arun + Chinatown

This time I took a classic route: visit Wat Arun during the day and head straight to Chinatown in the evening. If you're looking for a must-do Bangkok itinerary that won't rush, this is the perfect remedy!

✨ Wat Arun
One of Thailand's most iconic temples, its white tiles gleam stunningly in the sun, and the intricate details are truly stunning up close. Photos from any angle are incredibly captivating.
⚠️ Note the dress code: Cover your shoulders and legs, or rent a blanket on-site.
I spent about an hour taking photos and strolling, and the atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable.

⛴ Tip:
The boat ride from the other side is only a few baht—cheap and fun, definitely better than a taxi.

🍽 About Restaurants with a View
I tried a riverside restaurant with a truly beautiful location, offering a direct view of Wat Arun at night. Unfortunately… the food was mediocre, and the prices were doubled. Honestly, the value wasn't great. 👉 If you're looking for a photo op, just visit once; for delicious Thai food, it's better to head to a restaurant in the city.

🌆 Chinatown (Yaowarat Road)
At night, it's bustling with activity and packed with snacks, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The neon lights, vendors, and hawkers create a lively atmosphere.
✔ The prawn fried rice noodles are a must-try; they're incredibly delicious!
✔ The mango sticky rice and fish ball soup are highly recommended.
✔ Bring some cash; many stalls only accept cash.

💡 Summary
• Experiencing the cultural heritage of Wat Arun during the day and feasting in Chinatown at night was just the right amount of time.
• Restaurants with a view: OK for photos, but don't expect too much.
• A true foodie paradise → Chinatown!
