Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrived at the hotel/hostel I had booked π¨. Took the subway π to get there. When using the Beijing subway, I paid with the Alipay app π± or a Visa card π³. Spent the day exploring the neighborhood ποΈ and doing some shopping ποΈ.
Day 2:
Woke up early π
and visited the Beijing Zoo π
π¦π» and Aquarium π π. The zoo had all kinds of animals like jackals, lions, and even polar bears πΎ. The aquarium was absolutely stunning π¬β¨.
Day 3:
Went to the world-famous Universal Studios π’π¬! Unfortunately, I forgot my passport π
. Also, some items like selfie sticks π€³ and glass food containers π« are not allowed inside.
Day 4:
Spent the day at the Great Wall π―π§±. Itβs best to visit when the weather is cool π€οΈ for a more comfortable experience.
Day 5:
Checked out of the hotel ποΈ and ended the trip βοΈ.
π΄ Food Recommendations:
During my stay, I ate at several restaurants on the lower floor of Sanlitun SOHO π£ππ. Since my friend isnβt a fan of Chinese food, we tried Japanese π―π΅, Korean π°π· dishes, and even McDonaldβs ππ.
π Tips:
Useful apps in Beijing include Beijing Subway π, WeChat π¬, Alipay π°, Didi π, and ChatGPT π€ (which should be used with a VPN π‘οΈ).
