At 4:30 AM, falling into a Klein blue dream with West Lake

Unable to sleep at 4 AM, I went alone to West Lake and unexpectedly found healing at 4:30 in the morning. A thin mist floated gently over the lake, with distant mountains faintly visible. The lake reflected the blue sky, composing a dreamy scene like a lotus pond under moonlight.
By then, the area was already bustling—early morning cyclists, joggers, daydreamers—all adding to the storybook charm of this dreamy lotus pond scene.
Meanwhile, Lao Wang was still sound asleep at the hotel. This just goes to show that everyone's preferences should be understood and respected for their comfort.
This time, we stayed at the Vance Hotel, conveniently close to Hangzhou East Railway Station, with shuttle service available upon arrival—no wonder it was his pick for accommodation.
During summer travel, stepping outside for half an hour leaves you drenched in sweat. This hotel even has a laundry room with washers and dryers. After returning in the evening, you can wash your clothes and avoid wearing sweaty outfits the next day. I highly recommend choosing such a hotel—it means packing lighter and traveling more comfortably.
Breakfast was the usual buffet, but I was pleasantly surprised to find lychees among the fruits. It's rare to find a hotel that maintains such quality at just 300 RMB per person.
Fortunately, this trip was free of arguments—he slept his way, and I enjoyed my own adventures.
