The story of this area dates back to the 1980s. Back then, with Kansai Airport's approval, the development of Minami-Osaka Bay was in full swing. This newly developed seaside area across the bay from the airport became synonymous with business opportunities and crowds. Major corporations flocked to Rinku Town, including the Rinku Town Premium Outlets. Opening in the 1990s, it was Kansai's first outlet mall. It has undergone six expansions and expansions to its current size, with the most recent expansion in 2022 bringing the number of brands to over 250.

If I have an early flight, I like to stop by for a coffee after landing, browse stores like Beams, Ciaopanic, United Arrow, and Urban Research, or check out new releases at Nike, UA, and New Balance.
