Thean Hou Temple, or Wat Thean Hou in Kuala Lumpur, is one of the largest and oldest Chinese temples in Southeast Asia. This temple is situated on a hill, allowing for a chill view of the Kuala Lumpur cityscape. Especially at night, the sparkling lights are incredibly beautiful. Thean Hou Temple was built to dedicate to the goddess Mazu (the goddess of the sea) and also houses the deities Guan Yin and the goddess of water. The temple's architecture is distinctive, blending elements of Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism harmoniously. The traditional Chinese-style roof is adorned with dragons and intricate patterns, bright red pillars are exquisitely carved, and red lanterns hang throughout the temple area, making it very beautiful. This is another must-visit spot to check in when you come to Kuala Lumpur.
