Kamikōchi — the Switzerland of Japan

Just got back from my very first hike in Kamikōchi, and wow… what a place 😍 Surrounded by the Japanese Alps, every turn felt like stepping into a postcard—crystal-clear rivers, towering peaks, and that crisp mountain air that makes you feel so alive. 🌿⛰️ The trails were peaceful, with just the sound of water and birdsong keeping me company. Can’t believe such beauty is only a few hours from the city. Already thinking about when I can return ✨ #kamikochi #japanhike
