Shopping Guide
Nakazakicho is just a 15-minute walk 🚶♀️ from the Umeda shopping district! After a full day of shopping in Umeda’s major malls, take a break by strolling to this retro street lined with Showa-era wooden houses for a Citywalk📷—every snap looks like a Japanese-style masterpiece!
When you’re tired from walking, pick a cozy café ☕️ to rest a bit; after dark, the surrounding izakayas (open until midnight) offer plenty of choices to experience authentic Japanese casual dining life. Remember! Many small shops in Nakazakicho prohibit photography inside, so be sure to ask the staff before taking pictures!

If your schedule is tight and you want a simple meal, this highly rated Google rice ball shop is definitely worth it! You can customize your own onigiri fillings DIY-style, and the walls are covered with celebrity autographs—very unique! Although there’s usually a 15-minute wait, you can dine in or take out.
