Otaru Wakachook Times (若鶏時代なると) is one of the most representative old-fashioned fried chicken specialty stores in Otaru City, Hokkaido. It is famous throughout Japan for its "deep-fried half chicken (若鶏半身扬げ)", which is one of the must-eat foods for almost every traveler to Otaru.
The location of this store is also very convenient. It can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot from Otaru Station. It is recommended to dine in as soon as it opens, otherwise you will need to queue up during peak hours.
