A Different Route: Garden City Singapore Slow Travel Guide

This is my third time in Singapore. This article will introduce some of my favorite lesser-known spots.

1.
Address – Fort Canning Hotel
Highlight – This hotel is located inside Fort Canning Park, not in the bustling city center, making it more suitable for those who enjoy tranquility and a vacation vibe. I really like the resort atmosphere in the park, the hotel's white decor, and the beautiful marble bathroom. Plus, the park is right next door.
Rating – 9/10

2.
Address – Botanical Garden
Highlight – As a plant lover, I really enjoy Singapore’s greenery, sunshine, and blue skies with white clouds! Besides the most popular Garden by the Bay, there is also the Singapore Botanical Garden, which includes an Orchid Garden that requires an additional ticket but features a wide variety of orchids.
Rating – 9/10

3.
Address – National Gallery Singapore
Highlight – A gallery worth leisurely exploring. From the rooftop, you can see the Marina Bay Sands Hotel opposite and the stadium below. The only downside is that more and more people are taking photos and checking in, which somewhat affects the gallery’s artistic atmosphere.
Rating – 7/10
