"Sanbangsan Mountain, located in the southwestern part of Jeju Island, is a dome-shaped volcanic rock mountain with an altitude of 395m. It is more like a huge rock mass than a mountain, and its presence is overwhelming even from afar! ⛰️✨

The hiking route is well maintained, but you cannot go all the way to the summit. The only area open to the public is Sanbangulsa, which is located along the way. There is a Buddhist temple built in a natural cave, and you can worship in a mysterious space surrounded by the rock face. On foggy days, the atmosphere is fantastic...🙏🌫️

You can also see the sea from the foot of the mountain, and on a particularly clear day you can see as far as Dragon Head Coast and Brother Island. It is a spot you cannot miss when visiting Jeju, as you can enjoy the spectacular views of both the mountains and the sea! "
