The subtle coolness brought by "Ira Cola"

I stumbled upon this Japanese cola in Zhongshan. After ordering a cup, I finally understood why it's called "Chinese Herbal Cola." The first sip was a bit unfamiliar: a light herbal aroma followed by the familiar sweetness of cola. The two blended surprisingly well, creating a refreshing and soothing feeling.

Unlike regular cola, this one has layers of depth. Rather than simply being sweet, it has a subtle aftertaste, like herbal tea. Afterward, my throat felt soothed, as if the heat and dryness had subsided. This subtle flavor felt special to me. It felt like I was drinking a beverage, but also like experiencing a new, small, and certain happiness.
