What are the greatest joys of winter?
Warm hot springs and cool skiing
Handy at number one. Hearing that Club Med Joyview in Yanqing offers both hot springs and skiing, my two families immediately arranged to experience the new all-inclusive "Winter Ski" package.
My memories of last summer's stay are still vivid. Summer and Mango were such a blast! For those who want to revisit our memories, click here.

This three-day, two-night experience was even more surprising than the summer one. Especially since our two little ones finally turned four, we got to experience Club Med's renowned full-day care. If we use the fan circle mentality to describe it, we have transformed from casual fans to the purest fans of the only one~Room: Attentive details, perfect disinfection
As Beijing's most high-end family-friendly resort hotel, Club Med Joyview has always been very popular. Last time, we made a last-minute decision and only booked a Superior Twin Room. This time, we booked in advance and switched to a Superior King Room to experience it.
Beige and wood are the main colors. The winter light shines through the white gauze, casting soft light and shadow in the room, exuding a warm atmosphere and a sense of happiness. Many disinfection details can be seen in the room, which makes people feel at ease. A soft and comfortable big bed and a few fluffy pillows are enough to make them play like crazy. Children's happiness is just that simple. Environment: Fairytale Snow Scene, Fairy Tale Story
Visiting Club Med in Yanqing for the second time, I suddenly felt like I was home. It felt so familiar and at home. In the spacious and bright lobby, the two children dashed to the toy section with ease. The TV was playing the fitting "Frozen." The two little ones, tired from playing, actually remembered that there were free drinks here, so they would go to the lobby bar to order by themselves~
The glass corridor connecting the main building of the hotel and the amusement park is still the most suitable check-in spot for photos. It has become a catwalk for Summer and Mango.
The biggest surprise was the magical snowy scene outside, which was straight out of a fairy tale. Pristine white snowflakes dotted the lush green pine trees, making it feel like every tree would instantly become a Christmas favorite with just a touch of Christmas decorations.
Heavy snow doesn’t often fall in Beijing in winter, and it’s even rarer to see such pure snow scenes. Moms can take as many photos as they want here, while the kids can have fun playing in the snow~ Hot Spring: Huge Hot Spring Water Park
The last time I came here, my biggest regret was that I didn’t get to experience the
indoor hot spring water park. The two kids stared longingly at the pool through the glass for a long time, and they still yearn for it. Hearing the water park was open, we rushed over on our first night.
Yanqing is home to Club Med's first indoor hot spring water park in China. With natural hot springs sourced from 150 meters below the surface of Songshan Mountain, it offers the most heartwarming little treats during the harsh winter.
The vast water park is divided into different areas and pools, allowing everyone, young and old, to find their own unique experience. The tropical atmosphere, with its coconut trees, candy-colored lounge chairs, and daybeds, looks like a coastal retreat in the South of France.
Before you soak in the hot springs, be sure to strike a few poses!
The kids loved the splashing water park, where the shallow end was dotted with variously shaped water jets, the most eye-catching being this giant red spider. When four-and-a-half-year-old Summer and Mango stood up, the water barely reached their calves. With the hotel's armbands, they were incredibly safe. Mothers can soak in the hot springs while watching their children have fun in the water park.
The temperature of the indoor hot spring for adults is slightly higher than that in the children's pool. After soaking for a while, you will feel relaxed and refreshed, and your stress and fatigue will be swept away. Your skin will also become smooth and soft. After soaking in the hot spring, you can also enjoy a sauna in the steam room. The one-stop service is very considerate.
All-inclusive guests can enjoy it for free, so be sure to enjoy it. Skiing: Professional coaches will escort you
If hot spring bathing is the most healing thing in winter, skiing is the most exciting thing in the cold winter.
(Upgrade to an all-inclusive winter ski package for an additional 300 yuan)
The ski package requires instruction for ages 6 and up, and we dropped our two kids off early in the morning. The package includes a helmet, snowshoes, and skis. You need to bring your own goggles, ski suit, and gloves, or rent them on-site at your own expense. I specially prepared a professional outfit for this ski trip. It's definitely much nicer than the ones you rent at the resort, haha.
After changing into your gear, it's time for class. Club Med's ski lessons are partnered with ESF Ski School in France, the world's largest professional ski school. The instructors are wonderful, and they tailor their instruction to each of our individual strengths.
The package offers a choice between snowboarding and skiing. As a newbie, I've found that snowboarding is difficult to get started with, but later on, there's no question of correct technique; it's just about looking good or not. Snowboarding is relatively easy to get started with, but improving later on requires precision. We all opted for snowboarding, though it's still okay to borrow a friend's snowboard for a quick test. In our experience, getting started with snowboarding is indeed quite quick. Once you've mastered the basics, you can try your hand at it. The ski resort has 10 slopes, including one advanced, four intermediate, four beginner, and one for people with disabilities. We naturally chose the beginner slope, and the most important thing is to learn how to stop. With the instructor's guidance, I felt like I was getting through it quickly!
After two hours of instruction, there are two hours of free time. Skiing down the snowy slopes with the majestic mountains behind you and the endless snow in front of you, the speed and passion in the icy world are truly fascinating. △
If you have the chance, you should try snowboarding. Look at our friend Xiao Qiao, the boss. He is so handsome and heroic. Wow~

Professionally trained GOs with extensive experience in teaching children will lead children through playful learning, creating an engaging and entertaining learning environment. In the music room,
children can enjoy a mini karaoke experience. In the mini playground, GOs will lead children to play fun board games and card games, and have fun on the exciting rides.
In the artistic art room, children can experience a variety of DIY activities, such as mask painting, dragon dancing, paper dolls, necklace making, and even making cookies.
After staying at Club Med for three days and two nights, the kids brought back a lot of loot, including cool superhero mask paintings, colorful dragon dances, and delicious cookies... Summer even picked up a necklace and said, "This is for Mom. I made it myself." At that moment, the old mother's heart was filled with tears~
For the two naughty little boys, GO took them to experience various sports activities the most. Needless to say, ball games are the perfect way to unleash your child's inner energy. It feels like they could play for three days and three nights! The biggest challenge for kids is the trapeze. Many adults wouldn't dare try this, but Summer and Mango managed it!
Playground: The perfect choice for winter sports
Now that the kids are in daycare, the adults can finally let loose without any burden. In the indoor sports paradise, the Playground offers a variety of sports, including basic ball games like basketball, football, table tennis, and badminton. There's also a wide variety of VR games, a golf simulator, a ski simulator, indoor rock climbing, and soft archery. If you enjoy dancing, there are also professional classes available.
All activities are included in the all-inclusive package, so be sure to book some popular experiences in advance.
If you book the ski package, be sure to try the ski simulator. It's a real challenge for your balance and stamina.
Having learned the basics of soft archery here this summer, this trip was super easy.
Is it new to use your feet as a cue to “kick” billiards? It looks simple, but it’s actually quite challenging. Evening Show: Bar and Stage, Each Show is Wonderful
Club Med’s main show every Saturday left a particularly deep impression on us. The children only had one or two simple rehearsals in the afternoon before they were performing on stage that evening. The first time I saw a show, I was a little nervous, worried that the dance wouldn't look good or something would go wrong. But I never expected to be pleasantly surprised every time I saw it.
The after-party was packed with excitement, especially the rainbow-colored Domino drinks, which brought the atmosphere to a climax. Even as the night deepened, the joy of Club Med continued. Eat and Drink: Eat to your heart's content and enjoy free drinks. The all-inclusive package includes unlimited drinks, and in the dry winter, it's even more important to hydrate. The Yi Bar in the playground was a great place to grab a drink after a workout. Especially in the evenings, when the golden sunset reflected off the bar, it felt like a whirlwind of happiness. In the lobby bar, our two children knew the timing of their drinks better than we did. You guys really had a great time~
Club Med is such a magical place. Even if you eat all three meals in the same buffet restaurant, you can always taste different flavors. Enjoy the delicious food, the drinks, and the lively atmosphere. It's all-inclusive, no extra fees, it's so cool!
After my fourth visit to Club Med, my biggest feeling is that I really want to bring a GO home! Everyone is so good at taking care of children and has special skills. If Club Med ever offers lifetime membership, we will definitely be the first to sign up.
Like I said in the vlog, here, every minute, every second, there is a smile on everyone's face. If we could live in Club Med Joyview in Yanqing every day, we would hope that the winter in Beijing would be longer and longer~-The End-
