Dukezong Ancient TownWe first went to Dukezong Ancient Town in the city center, which houses the world's largest prayer wheel. Getting there requires climbing a flight of stairs. Aside from a bit of breathlessness, I had no other symptoms. I did see a few people using oxygen along the way, but most people didn't react. Taking a photo in Tibetan costume here is also a good option.

🏨We stayed at the Snow Mountain Starry Sky Hotel. If the weather was good, you could see the sun setting over the Golden Mountain from the hotel in the morning. Balagzong In the afternoon, we went to the pagoda. We had to take a bus up there. The pagoda is a natural formation. In February, the snow on the mountain topped half our bodies. As a southerner, we said we'd never seen such thick snow. We had a blast playing in the snow at 4,300 meters. By the end, it was so strenuous that I was a little breathless, but I recovered after a short break. My family and I didn't suffer from altitude sickness. One or two people in the car with us used oxygen. It really depends on your physical fitness.
The next day, we wandered around the village, went rafting in the Balagzong Grand Canyon, and then set off for Lijiang.
