4 Day Scottsdale Bachelor Party Itinerary

Hey all,

Will be down from June 16-20 staying near Old Town (most likely) with a group of 10-12. Just wanted to share my early thoughts at an itinerary just to get feedback from some of you that know the area well.

Jun 16 - Arrival/ Check In - have folks coming from all over so likely just get used to our surroundings maybe do an evening in Old Town to kick things off.

Jun 17 - Early Morning Hike (Thinking Camelback - but open to suggestions), Afternoon chilling/ pooltime pre-game at the ABNB before venturing into town for Diamondbacks game.

Jun 18 - Morning Golf (Greyhawk/ TPC Scottsdale - still tbd on the course), ATV Desert Tour, BBQ dinner @ ABNB, Evening Activity TBD - possibly another Old Town excursion.

Jun 19 - Morning Riverfloat, Lunch TBD - Top Golf in evening, Final dinner together

Jun 20 - Check out/ Departure

Thoughts on what I have planned? I know it will be extremely hot during the day so I'm trying to schedule most activities in the morning.

Definitely open to any/ all other activities people might have in mind, would love to hear from others that did their bach down there and get some insight on what people liked!

Thanks!

Your itinerary looks well-organized and captures the essence of what makes Scottsdale such a great bachelor party destination — outdoor adventure, great food, golf, and nightlife. Since you’re visiting in mid-June, your plan to do most of the physical activities early in the morning is smart given the desert heat.

Here’s some feedback and ideas to fine-tune your trip and make the most of your time there:

Day 1 – Arrival & Old Town Kickoff

Old Town is a perfect place to start the celebration. You’ll have lots of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options within walking distance. It’s great for your first night when everyone’s arriving at different times.

  • Dinner ideas: Try The Mission for upscale Mexican or Rehab Burger Therapy for casual eats.
  • Bars to start the night: Bevvy, Boondocks, and Bottled Blonde are all lively options.
  • Tip: Consider renting a sprinter van or arranging group rides since parking can be tight in Old Town.

Day 2 – Morning Hike & Diamondbacks Game

Camelback Mountain is iconic, but it’s quite challenging, especially in the summer heat. Start very early (around sunrise) and bring lots of water. If your group wants something easier, consider Tom’s Thumb Trail or Pinnacle Peak Park for a shorter, scenic hike.

  • Alternative hikes: Pinnacle Peak Trail (moderate, well-maintained)
  • Post-hike breakfast: Try Breakfast Club or Hash Kitchen for hearty morning meals.
  • Diamondbacks game tip: Plan transportation in advance—Uber or the light rail from a nearby park-and-ride can save parking hassle.

Day 3 – Golf & Desert Adventure

Greyhawk and TPC Scottsdale are both excellent choices for a golf morning. Greyhawk tends to have a more relaxed vibe, while TPC gives you that “PGA Tour” experience. Scheduling your ATV desert tour afterward will make for an adventurous and memorable day.

  • Other golf options: We-Ko-Pa (amazing desert views), Troon North (top-rated course).
  • ATV tips: Book with a reputable outfitter like Stellar Adventures and bring plenty of sunscreen and water.
  • Dinner idea: A BBQ night at your Airbnb sounds perfect — you can hire a private chef or caterer to handle it so the group can relax.

Day 4 – River Float & Topgolf

The Salt River float is one of the best summer activities around Scottsdale and a fun group bonding experience. Expect 3–4 hours on the water, and bring waterproof bags and plenty of drinks. Topgolf is a great way to end the trip with friendly competition and food in a comfortable setting.

  • River float tips: Go early in the morning and check water release times. Bring mesh shoes or sandals with straps.
  • Lunch suggestions: Post-float, grab a casual meal at O.H.S.O. Brewery or The Vig.
  • Final dinner ideas: Consider Mastro’s City Hall or Steak 44 for a celebratory final dinner.

Additional Suggestions

  • Book reservations well in advance for golf and dining, especially with a group of 10–12.
  • Arrange transportation or a private shuttle for nights out to avoid dealing with multiple rideshares.
  • If you want a daytime pool party vibe, check out Maya Day Club or W Scottsdale for cabanas and drinks.

Overall, your plan hits a great balance of activity, relaxation, and nightlife. With a few tweaks for the heat and logistics, you’ll have an unforgettable bachelor party in Scottsdale.
