New Philly Eagles Bar??

The Eagles bar in Key West is no longer open. It was Charlie Mac's then closed and then turned into "Lost and Found" and closed. We watch the Birds there last year. We are coming down again New Years day to watch and need a new spot for Birds fans to gather. We aint losin!! Let make it happen. Any ideas???

Finding a new gathering spot for Philadelphia Eagles fans in Key West can be a little tricky since the old bar has closed and the area tends to have more general sports bars than team-specific ones. However, there are still a few options for catching games with fellow fans:

First, many Eagles fans in Key West gravitate toward sports bars that offer multiple screens and are flexible about team loyalty. While there isn’t currently a dedicated Eagles bar, you can usually request that your game be put on one of the TVs.

  • The Green Parrot Bar: A Key West institution with plenty of TVs and a lively crowd. Not NFL-specific, but staff are used to accommodating requests for big games.
  • Sloppy Joe’s: Famous for its atmosphere and multiple TVs, Sloppy Joe’s is popular among tourists and locals alike. It can get crowded, so arriving early is recommended.
  • Fat Tuesday’s/Other Downtown Bars: Many smaller bars in the Duval Street area will put on requested games, especially if you gather a group together and ask in advance.

Other tips:

  • Consider calling ahead or checking social media pages for bars that may host Eagles game viewing events, especially on holidays like New Year’s Day.
  • Some vacation rental hosts or local fan groups may organize informal gatherings at bars or private spaces for Eagles fans.
  • If you’re staying at a hotel with a sports lounge, ask if they can accommodate your game on the TVs—it’s often the easiest way to watch with a group.

While Key West doesn’t currently have a dedicated Eagles bar, with a little planning, you can still enjoy the game in a lively atmosphere among fellow fans.
