Layover hotel

Looking for hotel suggestions near the airport with a pool and food nearby. We are flying STL to Denver and land around 6, and leave the next morning early for Vancouver. So looking for a place to just sleep that is safe and we could have dinner. 2 adults and 2 kids.

Was looking at hamtpton Inn gateway or other Hilton property in towers

For a short layover in Denver with a family of four, convenience, safety, and amenities like a pool are key. Staying near Denver International Airport (DIA) is ideal since you’ll be leaving early the next morning.

Hotel Suggestions:

  • Hampton Inn & Suites Denver/Airport-Gateway Park: This is a popular choice for families. It offers a pool, free breakfast, and shuttle service to the airport. There are a few casual dining options nearby, and it’s a safe, well-reviewed property for a short stay.
  • Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver International Airport: Offers spacious suites suitable for families, complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, an indoor pool, and evening reception with light snacks. Shuttle service to DIA is included, and it’s close to restaurants within a short drive.
  • Hyatt Place Denver Airport: Family-friendly, with an indoor pool, free breakfast, and shuttle service. Close to several casual restaurants for dinner, including American and Mexican cuisine.
  • Marriott Denver Airport at Gateway Park: Offers pool, on-site dining options, and airport shuttle. Rooms are spacious, suitable for two adults and two kids, and it’s located in a safe area with convenient access to I-70.

Additional Tips:

  • Since you land at 6 PM, it’s worth calling the hotel in advance to confirm shuttle service or arrange dinner reservations if needed.
  • Most airport-area hotels have casual restaurants either on-site or within a short drive, including Denny’s, Applebee’s, or local pizza and Mexican restaurants.
  • Check if your hotel offers early check-in or luggage storage in case your arrival is earlier than standard check-in time.

Any of these properties should meet your needs for a safe, convenient overnight stay with easy access to dinner and a pool for the kids.
