Vegetarian/ pescatarian in DL parks or DD

Hi- I searched and the last this was discussed was a few years ago. Any advice on vegetarian/ pescatarian foods in the parks or downtown Disney? Memorial Day. Thanks!

Disneyland and Downtown Disney have significantly expanded vegetarian and pescatarian options in recent years, making it much easier to enjoy meals without meat. Most quick-service locations and table-service restaurants now offer plant-based entrees, seafood dishes, or customizable meals.

Vegetarian Options:

  • Quick-Service: Many locations allow you to customize meals by removing meat, such as veggie burgers, salads, pasta dishes, and rice bowls. Examples include Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland and Red Rose Tavern in Fantasyland.
  • Table-Service: Sit-down restaurants like Blue Bayou, Café Orleans, and Plaza Inn can provide vegetarian versions of popular dishes—just request modifications when ordering.
  • Snacks & Sides: Fresh fruit, hummus with vegetables, chips, and side salads are widely available throughout the parks.

Pescatarian Options:

  • Seafood dishes are offered at several locations. For example, Harbour Galley has clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls, and Lamplight Lounge in DCA has fish tacos and seafood salads.
  • Table-service restaurants often offer grilled salmon or other seafood entrees. You can request modifications if needed to make sides vegetarian.

Downtown Disney:

  • Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria: Vegetarian pizzas and seafood options.
  • Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes: Plant-based burgers and customizable salads.
  • Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen: Seafood dishes and vegetarian gumbo/entrées are available.

Tips:

  • Check the official Disneyland app before your visit for updated menus and dietary filters.
  • Let cast members know about dietary preferences—they are generally very helpful in modifying dishes.
  • Consider bringing a small snack or protein bar for quick energy between meals, especially if traveling with kids or for a full day in the park.

Overall, vegetarians and pescatarians can find plenty of satisfying and tasty options across both Disneyland parks and Downtown Disney, even on busy holiday weekends like Memorial Day.
