Breakfast options -Early start from Radisson to Disneyland

Help please. We are landing 8pm at Pudong airport and staying at Radisson Blu (new world mall). We are headed to Disneyland next day (early entry 7:30am). So we intend to leave the hotel at 6am!

My question is around quick breakfast while we travel. Are there any 7-11/ Lawson equivalents in Shanghai where we can buy something to eat the previous night?

We will obviously eat at Disneyland, but will probably run to a ride queue first thing though

Shanghai has a good selection of convenience stores and quick breakfast options, similar to 7-11 or Lawson, where you can pick up food the night before or early in the morning. This is ideal if you plan to leave your hotel at 6am for Disneyland.

Near Radisson Blu (New World Shanghai), you will find several convenience stores and food outlets where you can purchase ready-to-eat items such as sandwiches, buns, pastries, yogurt, bottled drinks, and fruit. Some options include:

  • 7-11 – Many locations across Shanghai, usually open 24 hours.
  • FamilyMart – Another common convenience store with snacks, sandwiches, and drinks.
  • Lawson – Also present in some areas, offering quick breakfast items.
  • Local bakeries or supermarkets – Often open until 10pm or later, selling steamed buns, pastries, and boxed meals.

Tips for your early Disneyland visit:

  • Pick up your breakfast items the night before to avoid searching for stores early in the morning.
  • Pack some snacks and water for the queue if you plan to rush to popular rides.
  • If you prefer hot breakfast, you can check if the hotel offers early takeaway breakfast options (some hotels provide boxed breakfast if requested in advance).

Overall, convenience stores in Shanghai are reliable for quick and easy breakfast, so you won’t need to worry about finding food at that early hour before heading to Disneyland.
