Reflexology

I have very painful feet and would like to find someone who does reflexology. I don’t want to go to a resort spa. Will be in Phoenix for a week and would like 2-3 sessions. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

At Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the pickup locations for Uber, Lyft, and taxis are a short walk from the baggage claim areas, but it’s important to note that these are not immediately at the terminal doors. Passengers must follow the signs for “Rideshare” or “Taxi Pickup” depending on which service you are using.

Approximate walking distances:

  • Terminal 1–3: Rideshare pickup is on the lower/ground level at designated doors. The walk from baggage claim is typically about 3–5 minutes, roughly 200–300 feet, and is mostly level with paved pathways.
  • Terminal 4 (International and Delta domestic flights): Rideshare and taxi pickup is at Door 6 on the lower level. The walk from baggage claim is about 5 minutes, or roughly 250–350 feet.
  • Terminals 5–7: Follow the signs to the lower-level curbside area for pickups. Walking time is similar, around 3–6 minutes depending on which baggage claim carousel you exit from.

Additional considerations for travelers in their late 70s:

  • LAX provides moving walkways in some concourses, which can help reduce walking effort.
  • Wheelchair assistance is available if needed; you can request it when checking in or with the airline assistance desk. This can help if luggage or mobility is a concern.
  • Keep in mind that the paths are outdoor and uncovered in some areas, so wearing comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing is advisable.

Overall, while the walk is short and manageable, allowing extra time and considering assistance options can make the experience more comfortable for older travelers.
