Wineries close to a hotel

Hi are any of the wineries walking distance to a hotel? Thx

Temecula has a few clusters of wineries, but most of them are spread out across the valley, so having a car is usually necessary. That said, if you want to stay somewhere within walking distance of a few tasting rooms, the Old Town area is your best bet. There are several small tasting rooms and boutique wineries located right in Old Town, making it very walkable from nearby hotels.

Hotels in or near Old Town that offer convenient walking access to wineries and tasting rooms include:

  • Temecula Creek Inn: About a 10-15 minute drive to the main Old Town tasting rooms, and the inn itself has an on-site winery, so technically you could enjoy wine without leaving the property.
  • Inn at Europa Village: This boutique hotel is connected to a winery, so you can walk straight to tastings. Offers a more upscale, immersive wine experience.
  • Hotel Temecula: Located in Old Town, within easy walking distance of several small tasting rooms and restaurants.

For the classic vineyard experience with extensive grounds and multiple wineries, you will likely need a car or shuttle. Many of the larger wineries, such as Wilson Creek, Ponte, or South Coast, are 10–20 minutes’ drive from Old Town. However, if your goal is purely walking distance wine tastings combined with hotels, staying in Old Town or at a hotel with its own winery is your most convenient option.
