[Penang Trip] Retro Chinese antique interior is so cute! Exquisite Nyonya restaurant

A must-visit Nyonya restaurant in Penang! Introducing "Jason Nyonya House," a charming restaurant with stylish interiors and great lunch deals!

⭐️Review
This popular Nyonya restaurant is popular with local Chinese. It's conveniently located in the heart of Georgetown. I ordered the weekday-only lunch menu, but the price differed between restaurant members and non-members.
*Nyonya cuisine is...
Originating in Malaysia and Singapore in the 15th century, it's a Peranakan cultural cuisine born from the marriage of Chinese immigrants (babas) and local Nyonya women.

A meal featuring barley juice, a main course, butterfly pea-colored rice, soup, and dessert is a great value at around 700 yen! I tried the chicken kapitan and Tu ka chor (Nyonya-style braised pork), and everything was delicious!

The authentic flavors may be a bit quirky, but if you're looking for a taste of the real thing, this is definitely the place for you! ✨ It comes with a pork soup seasoned with white pepper, a Japanese favorite. It's a popular restaurant among locals, so you may have to queue for a bit at lunchtime. Be sure to plan your visit accordingly!
