Skiing Near Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang

Ski season is here! Here's a super detailed guide to the Daming Mountain Wansongling Ski Resort 👇

📍Address: Navigate to Daming Mountain Wansongling Ski Resort. It's about 1.5 hours from Hangzhou. There are two service areas along the way: Lin'an and Longgang, where you can take a break.
Tickets: CNY 188 on weekdays, CNY 265 on weekends. We recommend visiting on weekdays when there are fewer people and the scenery is more beautiful.

🅿️Parking: There are two options. The visitor center parking lot is well-equipped but busy. The parking lot at the halfway ticket office is more spacious but has fewer facilities. We recommend the visitor center parking lot.

🚍Shuttle Bus: Included in the package. Be sure to take it! There are large and medium-sized buses. If you have your own equipment, please note that you may need to put it in the aisle of the medium-sized bus.

🚠Cable Car: CNY 80 one-way, CNY 160 round-trip. After taking the shuttle bus to the trailhead, you'll need to climb a few dozen steps to the cable car station. The entrance to the ski resort is right after you get off the cable car!

🎿Ski Equipment Hall:

- Pay a CNY 500 deposit at the ticket office on the right to get a wristband. Keep the wristband and receipt safe, as you'll need them to get your deposit back!
- Inside, there are restrooms, stairs, elevators, a ski storage area, and a super useful LED ski resort guide.
- Rental order: First rent ski clothes, gloves, helmets, and goggles, then get ski boots, then store your clothes and change, and finally get your skis and enter the resort.
- Lockers: CNY 30/day (can be opened during the day) + CNY 20 deposit.

⛷Ski Trails:

- The snow play area and beginner trail are on the left after entering the resort, which is suitable for beginners. The intermediate and advanced trails are on the right. The advanced trail is above the intermediate trail. There's also a new park trail. The intermediate and advanced trails are a great length!

🍔Rest Area: On the second floor of the ski equipment hall. There are quite a few dining options, but the prices are a little high. This is understandable, as it's on the top of a mountain. You can also bring your own food. Hot water is available.
