I recommend traveling in the following order: ① Huanglong Scenic Area → ② Jiuzhaigou!

✈️ Depart from Chengdu → Arrive at Jiuzhaigou Airport (九黄机场)

Day 1: Huanglong Scenic Area (黄龙风景区) sightseeing

About 1 hour by car from the airport to Huanglong

After entering, enjoy the limestone terraces of the highlands and the mysterious turquoise water

🚌 After visiting Huanglong → Take a bus or taxi to Jiuzhaigou (about 2 hours)

Day 2: Jiuzhaigou sightseeing (early morning entry recommended)

Freely move around the Sanguo section by dedicated shuttle bus and enjoy trekking + sightseeing

💡 Travel tips

Local buses, minivans, and hotel pick-up services are available between Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou

The daily temperature difference is large, so a thick coat and oxygen can are essential

In order to prepare for altitude sickness, it is recommended to start with a light course on the first day rather than an intense trek
