I spent a month planning a 7-day, 6-night family trip to Japan.

🚗🚗🚗 Travel itinerary
Day 1: Kansai International Airport → Shinsaibashi
📍: After getting off the plane, take the subway: Kansai Airport - Tengachaya (Nankai Limited Express R/Nankai Airport Express Nankai Namba direction) - Nagahoribashi (Sakaisuji - Roku-chome direction), then take a taxi to the hotel.

Day 2: Kani Doraku (Dotonbori Higashi) → Universal Studios Japan
📍: Take the direct train to and from the park, departing at 8:00 am and returning at 7:30 pm.

Day 3: Nara Park
📍: Book a Nara Tokyo day tour, meet at 8:20 am: Nipponbashi Exit 2, JPY 273 per person.

Day 4: The National Museum of Art, Osaka → Hotel Granvia Osaka → Osaka Children's Museum

Day 5: Fuji View Hotel
📍: Depart from the hotel, walk to Shinsaibashi Station (Midosuji Line - Esaka direction), go to Shin-Osaka Station, transfer to the Shinkansen: Shin-Osaka - Mishima (3-4 hours in total), after getting off the train, exit from South Exit 2, take the bus to Fuji-Q Highland (book the bus online in advance).

Day 6: Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway → Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
📍: Book a Mt. Fuji day tour, with hotel pick-up and drop-off, JPY 2,800 per car, 8 hours of car use.

Day 7: Shinjuku → Narita International Airport
📍: Book a car to the airport, store luggage at the hotel, and leave the hotel before 5:00 pm!

🌴 Must-see attractions:
Universal Studios Japan: Full of ceremony, fun for both adults and children.
Shinsaibashi: I love it here. Eat and shop to your heart's content. 🛍️
Nara Park: Very photogenic.
Osaka Children's Museum: Free for children under 3, adults need to buy tickets, it's really worth going! You can play all day!
Lake Kawaguchi: Every photo is a masterpiece!

📍 Notes:
1. A stroller is a must for family trips!
2. Buy train tickets on-site, online tickets seem to be a bit more expensive.
3. Universal Studios Japan: If you don't go during the weekend peak season, you can just draw a ticket. Get tickets on your phone early in the morning, you can basically make a reservation!
