Food court

Hi, I'm looking for some info regarding the airport (MCO)

We are flying from Edinburgh to MCO in June of this year. We will be flying with Virgin Atlantic. I'm pretty sure they use terminal A.

My question is; is there a food court after security at terminal A? Every time we are coming home we see nothing but a very busy Burger King. I'm sure once, many years ago, we were in a food court.

If there is a food court at terminal A, airside, could anyone give me directions please?

Thanks in advance.

At Orlando International Airport (MCO), Terminal A does not have a traditional large food court like you might find in a shopping mall. Instead, it features a variety of individual restaurants, quick-service options, and grab-and-go spots located throughout the terminal after security. This setup can make it feel like there isn’t a centralized food court, especially if you only see the Burger King near your gate.

After passing through security in Terminal A, you’ll find multiple food and beverage options along the main concourse. Most are near the center and toward the gates, but they are spread out rather than grouped together in a single “food court” area. Some options include:

  • Starbucks – for coffee, pastries, and light snacks
  • Moe’s Southwest Grill – casual Mexican fare
  • Qdoba Mexican Eats – customizable Mexican bowls and burritos
  • Shula Burger – sit-down or grab-and-go burgers
  • Freshens – smoothies, sandwiches, and snacks
  • Einstein Bros. Bagels – bagels, coffee, and light meals

For a quick meal before your Virgin Atlantic flight, it’s best to walk along the main concourse after security to explore the various options. Keep in mind that locations and availability can vary depending on gate assignment and current renovations, as MCO occasionally updates its terminals and dining options.

Tip: If you are looking for a variety similar to a traditional food court, heading toward the center of Terminal A after security is your best bet, as you’ll find several restaurants within a short walking distance of each other, allowing everyone in your party to choose different meals.
