Golf accommodations
We are a group of golfers from Bermuda coming to Scottsdale in April 25. Around 20-24 of us . Usually go down the Airbnb route . Is there any alternatives that anyone can recommend? Eg hotels / condos etc.
many thanks.
Scottsdale, Arizona is a premier golf destination with a wide range of accommodations suited for groups of golfers. While Airbnb can work well for large groups, there are several alternative options including resorts, hotels, and condo communities that cater specifically to golf enthusiasts. Here’s a detailed overview of alternatives for your group of 20-24 people arriving in late April.
Golf Resorts and Hotels:
Many Scottsdale resorts combine lodging with on-site or nearby golf courses, making it convenient for your group to play multiple rounds without much travel.
- Fairmont Scottsdale Princess: A luxury resort with multiple championship golf courses nearby, shuttle services, pools, and extensive dining options. Ideal for large groups seeking comfort and amenities.
- The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort: Offers a beautiful 27-hole golf course, several pools, and upscale accommodations. They can handle large groups and provide group packages for golfers.
- JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn: Features two 18-hole championship courses, full-service spa, and large room blocks suitable for groups.
- Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch: Centrally located with easy access to multiple golf courses, ideal for mid-sized groups and social events.
Golf Condo Communities / Vacation Rentals:
If your group prefers more privacy and flexibility than a hotel, Scottsdale has numerous golf-focused condo communities. Many offer full kitchens, multiple bedrooms, and access to resort-style amenities.
- Golf Villas at McCormick Ranch: Condos directly on golf courses with easy access to the city, pools, and community areas for group gatherings.
- Desert Mountain Villas: Ideal for a larger group with private access to exclusive golf courses and upscale amenities like spas, pools, and clubhouses.
- Silverleaf or Troon North Vacation Rentals: Upscale homes and condos located on private golf courses. Great for combining golf with group social events.
- Paradise Valley Vacation Rentals: While slightly outside Scottsdale, offers luxury homes with golf course access, pools, and enough space to accommodate 20+ guests in multiple properties.
Tips for Booking:
- For a group of 20-24, consider reserving multiple adjacent condos or suites to ensure everyone is nearby.
- Contact resorts directly for group rates, golf packages, and tee time blocks.
- Check amenities such as group dining spaces, pools, and easy shuttle access to multiple golf courses.
- April is a popular month in Scottsdale, so early booking is highly recommended to secure the best options for your group size.
Overall, Scottsdale provides a wide range of accommodations that cater specifically to golfers. Depending on your group’s preference for luxury, convenience, or communal space, you can choose from high-end resorts with on-site courses or spacious golf condos that provide a home-like environment while remaining close to Scottsdale’s top courses.
