Looking for Mid Beach Hotel with quiet pool area
Hi! Looking for a South, Mid or North beach hotel for a short working getaway. I've been to South and Mid-beach Miami many times, but its tough finding a hotel with a chill pool area where I can work that isn't pumping dance music (or have tons of screaming kids). Does this even exist?
I prefer a boutique hotel if possible although maybe an airbnb condo might work? I Like the convenience of a hotel for being able to order coffee in the morning and a cocktail at happy hour. Will do some evenings out and like riding a bike along the boardwalk.
Your help is appreciated.
Finding a boutique or small hotel in Miami Beach with a quiet, chill pool area can be tricky, especially in South and Mid-Beach, where many hotels cater to party crowds. However, there are options that cater more to a relaxing, work-friendly environment.
For your criteria—quiet pool, boutique feel, ability to get coffee and cocktails, some evening activities, and easy bike access—here are some recommendations:
- Mid-Beach Boutique Hotels:
- The Confidante Miami Beach: Located in Mid-Beach, this hotel offers a retro-modern vibe with a large pool deck that isn’t usually overrun by loud music. It’s family-friendly but generally quieter than South Beach hotels.
- Faena Hotel Miami Beach: Luxurious and stylish with a beautiful pool, but the vibe is sophisticated rather than party-heavy. The pool area is more relaxed and great for reading or working.
- 1 Hotel South Beach: Technically closer to South Beach, but with multiple pool areas, including quiet zones and cabanas. Their eco-luxury style creates a calmer atmosphere despite being a large property.
- North Beach Options:
- Carillon Miami Wellness Resort: Located in North Beach, it has a quiet pool and wellness-focused amenities. Perfect for work, reading, and relaxing without the party vibe.
- North Beach Boutique Airbnbs or Condos: A few boutique-style condos along Collins Avenue have access to small, quiet pools and kitchens for coffee—ideal if you prefer full privacy and a slower pace.
- Additional Tips:
- Ask the hotel in advance for a room near a quieter pool or request poolside cabanas away from main music zones.
- Consider weekday stays, as weekends tend to be louder.
- Check if the hotel offers poolside Wi-Fi and table/chair setups for working comfortably outdoors.
In summary, Mid-Beach is generally quieter than South Beach, and North Beach is the calmest area with boutique-style accommodations and a more local vibe. Boutique hotels like The Confidante or Faena, or a quiet condo in North Beach, will give you the work-friendly, chill pool atmosphere you’re looking for.
